Kylie Hansen grew up in Friendswood Texas. While at the University of Kansas, she studied under Eric Stomberg before earning her Master’s of Music at The New England Conservatory under Marc Goldberg. Kylie has performed opera alongside the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, performed with the Paris Conservatory, as well as at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C with the KU Wind Ensemble. In 2018, she was named winner of the Midwest Double Reed Society’s Young Artist Competition. In 2023 Kylie completed an artists diploma at the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory of Toronto studying under Glenn Einschlag, after which she joined the Orchestra Now at Bard College. She has performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art and other venues in New York City.
